QUESTION #1: Are the credit card transactions on your site safe? Would it be better to place my order over the phone instead?

We take the handling of credit card information very seriously. For your protection and security (as well as for ours), we have invested in a very high end security system to process your credit card information on-line. When you place an order, the credit card information is shared with our Merchant Account Company directly (the company that handles all of our credit card charges). We do not have access to your credit card information or your CVV code. We only have access to the last four digits of the card that you used. Your credit card data is not stored on our computer systems and it is not printed out and stored in hard copy.

We prefer that all credit card charges be made through our on-line interface. If you call our office to place an order over the phone, we will be using THE SAME ON-LINE INTERFACE to place your phone order. Because of the security protocols that are in place with our on-line shopping cart system, it is the BEST WAY to process your credit card information. If you are contacting us by phone SPECIFICALLY to eliminate the step of entering your credit card information on-line, please realize that we WILL be using an on-line interface to process your order.

DETAILS REGARDING SECURE ON-LINE PAYMENTS

QUESTION #2: You have a questionable charge on your Credit Card?

All orders placed through this website will show up on your credit card as a transaction with Biros Merchandising. Biros Merchandising is the management company of www.XpressMart.com. Biros Merchandising is our official business name, and this is the name that will show up on your credit card.

If you received a charge on your credit card that you do not recognize, please contact us by email at sales@xpressmart.com so that we may research the matter further. In your message, be sure to provide your name, the date of the credit card charge, and the amount of the credit card charge in question. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

QUESTION #3: You recently attempted to make a purchase through our website with your credit card, and that purchase was declined?

If your credit card was declined through our website, there could be a number of reasons. The most common reason that a card is declined is that your credit card company declined the charge. In this case, you will need to contact your credit card company to find out why.

If your charge was declined due to an AVS Mismatch or invalid address, this means that the BILL TO address that you entered does not match the billing address on file with your credit card company. Please change the address to match the address that your monthly bill is sent to.

If your charge was declined due to an invalid CVV code, this means that the code that you entered from the back of your credit card is incorrect. Please review the on-line instructions that we’ve provided on our website to make sure that the code has been entered properly.

QUESTION #4: You recently made repeated attempts to place an order, and now there appears to be multiple charges on your credit card?

If you have attempted to charge to your card, but the charge was declined, your credit card company will generally put a temporary hold on the funds waiting for a final charge. If you put through 3 attempts, the charge card company will put through 3 temporary holds. A final charge will only be sent to your credit card company if your transaction was finally approved, and only ONE charge will be sent through and finalized. The other temporary holds will eventually be deleted by your credit card company. This process usually takes a few days. If you have further questions out this temporary hold, please contact your credit card company.
